01 Jul European Union Confirms that Americans Will Remain Barred from Travel for Now

The European Union has confirmed that Americans will be barred from entering it’s member nations when boarders open up for travel on July 1, 2020.  The E.U. weighed both COVID-19 risks with the impact that the ban would have on its tourism industries.  It includes all countries in the E.U. members and does not include Ireland or the U.K.  There is no timetable as to when U.S. citizens could be allowed into the E.U. nations for tourism.  The plan, at the moment, is for the E.U. member states to review the list biweekly to determine if changes should be made.
